The Wineguider Best-Value Guy

“Best Values” show that guy.  Delicious, at a great price.

But let’s make a shorter list:  the Very Best Values — the most serious wine values that I’m aware of.

Here they are:

Les Martinieres table wine, $7 at Total Wine

Jacob’s Creek chardonnay, $6 at Total Wine, but this depends on the vintage, not always super duper

Pine Ridge chenin blanc/viognier, $11 at Total Wine

Nobilo sauvignon blanc, $7.50 at Total Wine

Depending on the year (summer of ’15 was a no-go), Cupcake sauvignon blanc, $7.89

Red

Depending on the year (2014 and 2015 purchases seemed watery): Cloud Break pinot noir, $8

At Total Wine: Penfolds Koonunga Hill shiraz cabernet, $7.69

La Crema Sonoma Coast pinot noir, $16.89 at Costco
